serves 3 pint glasses. If you are making this smoothie just for you then make up this amount for the day and put the remainder in a sealed flask which will keep the smoothie fresh for 24 hours, I do this all the time, especially if I’m going out for the day and need feeding!
1 medium size beetroot
1 orange peeled with pith left on
9 dessert spoons of soaked black rice (soaked for at least 24 hours)
2 small bananas
Juice the beetroot, pineapple, carrots and lime. Blend thoroughly with the peeled orange, bananas and black rice.
