Mangoes are low in calories, fat free, sodium free and cholesterol free. They contain over 20 different vitamins and minerals which puts them into the bracket of a Superfood! High in anti-oxidants mangoes contain poly-phenolic flavonoid antioxidant compounds which help to expel harmful toxins from the body. Amongst other health benefits they are also high in Vitamin A and rich in potassium which helps in controlling heart rate and blood pressure.
1 litre flax milk
1 large mango
Juice of half a cucumber
1 tablespoon hemp protein powder
1 tablespoon coconut manna
1 tablespoon lucuma
1 tablespoon maca
Juice the cucumber and place with all the other ingredients in your blender and whizz till smooth. Take yourself outside in nature, barefoot and enjoy this power packed super smoothie in the sunshine. Delish.
